Our torchlight procession will this year, as in previous years, start at the Community Centre in Dromore Road. We trust you’ll fully appreciate that due to current, and seemingly ever-changing, restrictions arising from Covid, we’re having to curtail the event this year (and we’re indeed delighted that it can proceed at all!).

Unfortunately, we’re having to restrict the number of torches (cost £3.50) in the procession to 450 because, together with the safety marshals we are arranging for the event, we cannot exceed 500 in the procession in total. For the park, we’re allowed 1000, so an additional 500 tickets will be available for entry there.

This year, the procession route will include Garden and Fleet Streets and continue along (as previously) High Street to Garries Park where the firework display will take place as normal. Unfortunately, we’re not allowed to sell any food (but you can always bring your own).
