The afternoon kicks off with assembly of all decorated floats, cars, other vehicles and pedestrians in Dromore Road opposite the community centre and the adjacent school from 12.30pm. Full details of the various entry categories are to be found in the printed programme (available in all local shops). Decorated vehicles line up in the road while all pedestrian entries assemble in the community centre car park for judging – before the parade actually sets off at 1.15pm.

The parade heads along Garden Street from the community centre and emerges onto Fleet Street before entering High Street itself. At the clock tower, everyone turns into Ann Street and then into Garries Park adjacent to the bowling green before emerging into the park itself. Winners of the various decorated floats etc are then announced at the beginning of the afternoon’s proceedings in the park before an afternoon of fun and entertainment commences! The afternoon concludes after the Grand Raffle Draw results are announced – shortly after 4.00pm. Details of prize-winners will be announced here on this website as soon as possible thereafter.
